20. Time and place of election
The Returning Officer shall fix the date not earlier than the first and not later than the fifteenth day of December in any year for holding the election and shall cause notices announcing the same to be posted on the outer doors of the office of the local authority, and of any church and police station within the limits of the jurisdiction of the local authority and in any other conspicuous places he or she shall think fit, at least 2 weeks before the date fixed for election.
