34. Loans to be paid to the credit of the urban or village Fund

Every such loan shall be paid by the Treasurer under the warrant of the Governor General to the credit of the town or village Fund of the particular local authority to which the loan has been made: Provided that, until the approval of the Secretary of State has been first obtained—
1. (a) no single loan to any local authority shall exceed $960;
1. (b) no loan or loans to any local authority shall exceed in the aggregate $2880.
