44. Notification in gazette that assessment list may be seen at the treasury
On or before the 1 June in each year (on which date the rates and taxes shall become due and payable) the Treasurer shall notify in the Gazette that a copy of the original list and the list of alterations, if any, may be seen at the Treasury, or at the office of the Sub-Collector, or at the Police Station, and that the rates and taxes due must be paid to the Treasurer on or before the 31 August then next following.
