27. Member replacing one who has vacated his or her seat
A member of an authority who is elected or nominated in place of a member who has vacated his or her seat before serving his or her full term shall hold office in the same manner as, and for the remainder of the time for which, such member in whose place he or she is elected or nominated would have held. Provided that when an election is held such election shall be held within 2 months of such vacancy having occurred and the voting and other proceedings shall be conducted in the same manner as is hereinbefore provided in respect of the ordinary elections of the Authority.
