48. Notification of execution on movables
The Treasurer shall on or before 15 September notify in the Gazette, and in a newspaper of Saint Lucia at the expense of the Urban or Village District Fund, that after August movables may be taken in execution and sold for rates and taxes unpaid after 30 September. On or before the 17 September or so soon thereafter as practicable, the Treasurer shall cause a copy of such notification to be affixed to an outer door of each Church (subject to the permission of the Incumbent or Curé), District Court, Police Station and Sub-Collector's Office in the Towns and Villages.
