Private burial grounds

5. Restriction on private burial ground

(1) A person shall not use private land as a burial ground unless the land is registered as a private burial ground under this Act.

(2) A person who contravenes subsection (1) commits an offence and is liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding $10,000 or to a term of imprisonment not exceeding 2 years.
