21.   Offences

  1.  

    (1)   A person shall not —

    1.  

      (a)     behave disrespectfully during the burial of a body;

    1.  

      (b)     damage any building, fence, monument, tomb, tree or shrub;

    1.  

      (c)     leave any litter or deposit any filth;

    1.  

      (d)     play any game;

    1.  

      (e)     pluck any flower or remove branches of any tree or shrub of any kind without the permission of the custodian; or

    1.  

      (f)     tether in any way, graze or allow any animal to be at large,

within a burial ground.

    (2)   A person who contravenes subsection (1) commits an offence and is liable on summary conviction, to a fine not exceeding $2,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 6 months.
