31. Location of crematorium or cremation pyre site

(1) A licensee shall not construct a crematorium —
1. (a) in the consecrated part of any burial ground;
1. (b) within 45 meters of any church; or
1. (c) within 90 meters of any dwelling house.

(2) A licensee shall not construct a cremation pyre site —
1. (a) in the consecrated part of any burial ground;
1. (b) within 45 meters of any church; or
1. (c) within 2 kilometres from any dwelling house.

(3) Subsection (1) does not apply to a crematorium existing at the commencement of this Act.
