SAINT LUCIA MARKETING BOARD SPECIFIED PRODUCE (GINGER) ORDER – SECTION 21
Commencement [10 February 1975]
1. Citation
This Order may be cited as the Saint Lucia Marketing Board Specified Produce (Ginger) Order.
2. Interpretation
In this Order—
“Act” means the Saint Lucia Marketing Board Act;
“Board” means the Saint Lucia Marketing Board.
3. Specified Produce
It is hereby declared that “ZINGIBER OFFICINALE ROSC” commonly called “GINGER” grown in Saint Lucia is a specified produce and the Board shall be the sole purchaser, handler, processor, seller and exporter of such specified produce, and no person or organisation other than the Board shall purchase, sell, export or otherwise deal in such specified produce grown in Saint Lucia except under a licence granted by the Board.
