14.   Registration of insurance societies and of societies assuring annuities

A society providing for the endowment of a member or the nominee of a member at any age, or assuring a certain annuity shall not be entitled to registration, unless the tables of contributions for such respective benefits or assurance are in accordance with those constructed and published under section 3, or, in default of such tables, are in accordance with those in use by the General Post Office in England or have been certified under the hand of a competent actuary approved by the Registrar, who has exercised the profession of actuary for at least 5 years, and such tables and certificate (if any) are sent to the Registrar with the application for registration.
