(1) Any change in the names or addresses of the officers shown on the list mentioned in section 8(2) shall be communicated in writing to the Registrar by the secretary of a society, and any secretary failing to make such communication in the absence of reasonable excuse commits an offence under this Act.
(2) The Registrar shall keep a book (to be called the Register of Friendly Societies) in which shall be entered—
(a) the name and address of the registered office of every society;
(b) the names and addresses of the officers shown on the list mentioned in section 8(2) and of all changes therein.
(3) A copy of any entry in the Register of Friendly Societies certified under the hand of the Registrar to be a true copy shall be received in evidence in all courts of justice in Saint Lucia without further proof.
