133.   False representation of authority to give consent

  1.  

    (1)   It is an offence for a person to represent falsely that he or she is authorised by any person to give consent for the purposes of this Part in relation to a performance, unless he or she believes on reasonable grounds that he or she is authorised.

    (2)   A person who commits an offence under this section is liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding $2,500 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 12 months or to both such fine and imprisonment.
