(1) Subject to subsections (2) and (3), an employee of the Board other than an employee under subsection (2) and (3), shall be employed by the Board on a contractual basis.
(2) Subject to the approval of the appropriate Service Commission or Statutory Authority, a public officer or an employee of a Statutory Authority, may, be transferred or seconded to the service of the Board, with the consent of such person.
(3) Where a transfer or secondment referred to in subsection (2) is effected, the rights, of the public officer so transferred or seconded, to any pension, gratuity or other allowance for which he or she would have been eligible had he or she remained in the public service, are preserved.
(4) Where a public officer is transferred from a pensionable office within the meaning of section 2(1) of the Pensions Act, to perform any service with the Board, such service shall, unless the Governor General otherwise decides, count as pensionable.
(5) Where a person who is a public officer, is transferred from a pensionable office within the meaning of section 2(1) of the Pensions Act to perform any service with the Government, such service shall, unless the Governor General otherwise decides, counts as
