39. Additional fee for delayed registration
Where an instrument is presented for registration later than 3 months from the date of the instrument, then, in addition to the registration fee, an additional fee equal to the registration fee shall be payable for each 3 months which have elapsed since such date.
However, in no such case shall the additional fee exceed 5 times the original registration fee payable.
