3. Application of this Act
The provisions of this Act shall apply only to land, interests in land, or dealings in land, registered under this Act.
However, except where a contrary intention appears, this Act shall not be construed as permitting any dealing which is forbidden by the express provisions of any other law or as overriding any provision of any other law requiring the consent or approval of any authority to any dealing.
