CORRECTION AND RECTIFICATION OF REGISTER

715.   Power for registrar to correct clerical errors

  1.  

    The Registrar may, on request in writing accompanied by the prescribed fee—

    1.  

      (a)     correct any clerical error in or in connection with an application for a patent or for registration of a design or trade mark;

    1.  

      (b)     cancel the registration of a design or trade mark either wholly or in respect of any particular goods or services in connection with which the design or trade mark is registered; (Amended by Act 14 of 1989)

      (c)     correct any clerical error in the representation of a design or in the name or address of the proprietor of any patent, design or trade mark, or in any other matter which is entered upon the Register of Patents, Designs, and Trade Marks.
