620.   Receiving order where debts or assets not likely to exceed $480

When a receiving order is made against a debtor, and the Court is satisfied that the property of the debtor is not likely to exceed in value $480, the Court may make an order that the debtor's estate be administered in a summary manner, and thereupon the following provisions shall apply—

(1)   If the debtor is adjudged bankrupt the Administrator General shall be the trustee in the bankruptcy.

(2)   Such modifications may be made in the provisions of this Title as the Court may direct or as may be prescribed by general rules with the view of saving expense and simplifying procedure:

    Provided that there be no departure from the provisions hereinbefore contained respecting the examination and discharge of the debtor.
