592.   Power to allow bankrupt to manage property

(1)   The trustee, with the sanction of the Court, may appoint the bankrupt himself or herself to superintend the management of the property of the bankrupt, or of any part thereof, or to carry on the trade (if any) of the bankrupt for the benefit of his or her creditors, and in any other respect to aid in administering the property in such manner and on such terms as the trustee may direct.

(2)   The trustee may make such allowance as the Court may approve to the bankrupt out of his or her property for the support of the bankrupt and his or her family, or in consideration of his or her services if he or she engaged in winding up his or her estate.
