577. Avoidance of voluntary preferences
Any transfer of property not made in favour of a purchaser or incumbrancer in good faith and for valuable consideration, shall, if the transferor becomes bankrupt within 2 years after the date of such transfer, be void against the trustee in bankruptcy.
