EFFECT OF BANKRUPTCY ON ANTECEDENT TRANSACTIONS

576.   Rights of creditors and duties of sheriff as to seizures in execution

Where a creditor has caused the seizure in execution of the movable or immovable property of a debtor, and a receiving order is made against such debtor's estate at any time prior to the distribution of the proceeds of sale, the receiver or trustee may require the Sheriff to pay over to him or her the net proceeds of sale of the property seized.
