525. Policy and risk
The expression “policy” includes not only the formal document embodying all the terms and conditions, but any slip, deposit, receipt or protection note or other evidence of agreement from which can be inferred an intention to pay the required premium on the one hand and to protect the insured property on the other. And the risk commences whenever the agreement is complete.
