507. Knowledge of agent
In actions on policies of insurance, the knowledge of the agent of the office may, in proper cases, be imputed to the office, and thereupon the consequences are the same as if the office were cognisant of the fact known to the agent, and his or her conduct will operate against them by way of estoppel.
