DISTRICT COURTS (JUDICIAL DISTRICTS) ORDER – SECTION 3
Commencement [12 September 1987]
1. Citation
This Order may be cited as the District Courts (Judicial Districts) Order.
2. Division of Judicial Districts

(1) The State is hereby divided into 2 judicial districts to be designated the first judicial district and the second judicial district as follows—
-
(i) The first judicial district comprising the quarter of Castries including the Islet known as Rat Island; the quarter of Gros Islet; the quarter of Dauphin and the quarter of Anse-la-Raye including the village of Canaries.

(ii) The second judicial district comprising the quarter of Soufriere; the quarter of Choiseul; the quarter of Laborie; the quarter of Vieux-Fort; the quarter of Micoud; the quarter of Praslin; and the quarter of Dennery including the Islets adjacent to the coasts of the said quarters.

(2) The abovementioned quarters shall be taken as described in the map of this State made for the Government of Saint Lucia by the Directorate of Overseas Surveys (Government of the United Kingdom) and shown as 945 edition 2.
