9.   Execution of process issued before such changes

When at the commencement of any such order or law as in the last section mentioned the magistrates of any district affected thereby have issued process under any authority however lawfully conferred, notwithstanding the provisions of such order or law, unless in this respect such order or law otherwise provides, and the Chief Justice may by order otherwise provide, it shall be lawful for such process to be executed as if such order or law had not been passed.
