13. Governor General's power to discharge leper from Asylum
The Governor General may, in his or her absolute discretion, order the discharge from any leper asylum of any person detained therein as a leper under the provisions of this Act, and he or she shall order the discharge of any person so detained upon the certificate of the Medical Superintendent of the asylum that the person is cured of his or her leprosy and is not suffering from ulcers.
