28. half of fine to person aiding prosecution
Such portion of any fine recovered under this Act, not exceeding ½, as the magistrate by whom a person is convicted thinks fit to direct, may, if the magistrate in his or her discretion so orders, be paid to any person or persons who shall have aided in the prosecution.
