(1) Any leper who sells any article of food or drink which has been prepared or handled by him is liable on summary conviction by a magistrate to be committed to a leper asylum to be detained there until discharged by order of the Governor General.
(2) Any person who knowingly sells any article of food or drink which has been prepared or handled by a leper commits an offence.
