6. Resources of the office of the Commissioner

(1) There shall be appointed such officers and employees as may be necessary to enable or assist the Commissioner to discharge the duties and to perform the functions conferred on the Commissioner under this Act effectively and efficiently.

(2) The office of Commissioner must have an independent fund appropriated by Parliament and controlled by the Commissioner. (Amended by Act 2 of 2015)

(3) Parliament shall appropriate annually, for the use of the office of the Commissioner, such sums of money as may be necessary for the proper exercise, performance and discharge, by the Commissioner, of his or her functions, powers and duties under this Act.
