(1) The Commissioner may designate one or more officers or employees under the administrative control of the Commissioner to exercise, discharge or perform any of the power, duties or functions of the Commissioner under this Act, that are specified in the designation.
(2) The Commissioner may delegate any of the investigating and enforcement powers conferred on the Commissioner by this Act to any authorized officer and to any police officer designated for that purpose by the Commissioner of Police.
