(1) The Board shall before the determination of any application before it, give to the Corporation 14 days notice of all applications for determination of the standard rent and the Board shall at the same time make the Corporation a party to the proceedings concerning every such application.
(2) Where the Corporation is made a party in accordance with the provisions of subsection (1) any complaint, summons, notice or document shall be sufficiently served if served on the Secretary of the Corporation or on such person ostensibly in charge of the Corporation.
