(1) It is lawful for the Corporation on the recommendation of the Public Service Commission to appoint such public officers as it may seem fit to perform the duties of Inspectors in accordance with section 6.
(2) Every Inspector is subject in the performance of his or her duties to the directions which he or she may be given by the Corporation and shall prepare and make such returns to the Corporation in connection therewith as he or she may be required.
