9. Penalty for refusing to produce licence
It is lawful for any revenue officer or constable to demand and require from any person who shall have taken out a licence under this Act the production of such licence, and such person within a reasonable time after such demand shall produce such licence to such revenue officer or constable and shall permit him or her to read the same and (if he or she shall think fit) to take a copy thereof or of any part thereof, and if such person refuses or fails to produce such licence as aforesaid, or if he or she refuses to permit any licence which he or she may produce to be read or a copy as aforesaid to be taken, he or she commits an offence.
