20. Onus of proof
Whenever in any proceedings under this Act the defendant claims that he or she has duly taken out a licence or delivered any notice or declaration required by this Act, or claims any qualification or exemption from liability, the burden of proving such licence, notice, declaration, qualification or exemption shall be upon the defendant and no proof in relation to such claim shall be required on the part of the complainant.
