Revised Laws of Saint Lucia (2021)

17.   Persons arriving from infected place to be vaccinated or re-vaccinated

A person who arrives in this island from any port or place declared by the Governor General to be infected with smallpox may, before the person is allowed to land, be required by the health officer to be vaccinated or re-vaccinated as the case may be, unless the person is able to produce, to the satisfaction of the health officer, proof that he or she has been successfully vaccinated, or revaccinated as the case may be, within 3 years from the date of his or her arrival. If such person refuses to be vaccinated, or re-vaccinated, as the case may be, the health officer may order him or her to be placed under surveillance for not more than 14 days, reckoned from the date of his or her departure from such infected port or place.
