(1) A person shall not service or repair a gaming device or associated equipment unless he or she—
(a) has been issued a gaming manufacturer licence;
(b) is employed by a person who has been issued a gaming manufacturer licence; or
(c) is certified by a person who has been issued a gaming manufacturer's licence and employed by a gaming operator or a gaming distributor.
(2) A person who contravenes subsection (1) commits an offence and upon conviction is liable to a fine of $50,000.
