(1) A person may make an application to the Board for a licence under this Act.
(2) An application for a licence under section 14(1) shall be made to the Secretary. (Amended by Act 18 of 2018 and substituted by Act 24 of 2019)
(2A) An application under this section must—
(a) be in the prescribed form;
(b) be accompanied by the prescribed fee and prescribed documents.

(3) Within 14 days after the date on which an application is received by the Secretary he or she shall submit a copy of the application to the Commissioner of Police and to any agency which the Board considers appropriate in or outside Saint Lucia, for purposes of verification and investigation if requested by the Board.
