(1) In determining an application for registration under this Part, the Council—
(a) may investigate the applicant;
(b) may, by notice given to the applicant, require the applicant to give the Council within a reasonable time of at least thirty days as stated in the notice, further information or a document the Council reasonably requires to decide the application; and
(c) may by notice given to the applicant, require the applicant to fulfill conditions as stated in the notice.
(2) The Council may require the information or document required under subsection (1)(b) to be verified by a statutory declaration.
(3) The purpose of an examination under subsection (1)(c) shall be to assess the applicant's ability to practice the allied health profession competently and safely.
