115.   Offences of false statements and forgery

  1.  

    (1)   A person shall not make or produce a false or misleading statement, either orally or in writing, in connection with—

    1.  

      (a)     an application or inquiry;

    1.  

      (b)     an investigation into a complaint.

  1.  

    (2)   A person shall not forge a degree, or diploma or other evidence of qualifications for registration under the provisions of this Act.

  1.  

    (3)   A person shall not forge or change any information on a—

    1.  

      (a)     certificate of registration;

    1.  

      (b)     a practicing certificate; or

    1.  

      (c)     a licence.

  1.  

    (4)   A person who contravenes subsection (1), (2), or (3) commits an offence and on summary conviction is liable to a fine not exceeding $10,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 2 years.
