(1) An alien investor shall not hold an alien investor entrance permit without a valid licence issued under the former Act or an alien landholding licence.
(2) An alien investor who contravenes subsection (1) commits an offence and is liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding $5,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 3 years or to both.
