14.   Making out of list of cases of omission to procure vaccination, and proceedings

A district registrar shall within one week after 1 January and 1 July in every year, and at any other time when called upon so to do by the Registrar of Civil Status, make out a list of all cases in which certificates of vaccination have not been duly received by him or her during the last preceding half-year, and shall submit the same to the chief officer of the Police Force resident in the medical district in which he or she acts, and the said officer shall inquire into the circumstances of the cases contained in the list, and if he or she finds that the provisions of this Act have been neglected, he or she shall cause proceedings to be taken against the persons in default.
