A person who presents to the House or a committee any false, untrue, fabricated or falsified document with intent to deceive the House or committee commits an offence and is liable on conviction by a court of summary jurisdiction to a fine not exceeding $500 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 12 months or to both such fine and imprisonment.
