25.   Offences by strangers with respect to interference with members or privileges of House

A stranger commits an offence who—

  1.  

    (a)     assaults, hinders, obstructs or insults any member coming to, going from or being within the House or the precincts of the House;

  1.  

    (b)     interferes with, resists or obstructs any officer of the House while in the execution of his or her duty; or

  1.  

    (c)     creates or joins in any disturbance which interrupts or is liable to interrupt the proceedings of the House while it is sitting,

  1.  

    and is liable on conviction by a court of summary jurisdiction to a fine not exceeding $250 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 6 months or to both such fine and imprisonment.
