30.   Accounts and audit

  1.  

    (1)   The Bank shall cause to be kept, proper books and accounts and the accounts shall be audited annually by an auditor who shall be appointed each year by the Bank.

    (2)   The auditor appointed under subsection (1) shall prepare a report to be submitted with the annual audited statement of accounts within 2 months of the end of each financial year.

    (3)   The Bank shall, within 3 months of the end of the financial year, cause to be made and be submitted to the Minister —

    1.  

      (a)     a report dealing generally with the operations of the Bank;

    1.  

      (b)     a copy of the auditor's report;

    1.  

      (c)     a copy of the annual audited statement of accounts.

    (4)   The Minister shall, on receipt of the auditor's report and the audited statement of accounts, lay the same at the next sitting of Parliament and cause the same to be publish in the Gazette.
