36.   Inspection of property for purposes of loans

  1.  

    (1)   Subject to subsection (2), the Bank may authorise in writing any officer, inspector, servant, or agent appointed by the Bank, at all reasonable times on the production of such authorisation as determined by it to enter upon any premises for the purpose of inspecting or valuing any land, vehicle, boat or other property in respect of which a loan is to be granted or has been granted under the provisions of this Act.

    (2)   In the case of a dwelling house, an entry shall not be made therein without the consent of the owner or occupier thereof or unless the owner or occupier has been given at least 24 hours' notice of the Bank's intention to enter the same for the purposes aforesaid.
