The functions of the Commission shall be to—
(a) promote high standards of efficiency and integrity in the conduct of persons licensed to perform the duties of customs brokers, customs clerks, and apprentices;
(b) supervise and monitor the training of apprentices;
(c) issue customs broker licences, customs clerk licences and apprentice permits to those who attain the standards set by the Commission; and
(d) ensure the maintenance of standards set by the Commission.
