7.   Registration of voters

  1.  

    (1)   The Curé or other Incumbent of each parish shall in every year prepare or cause to be prepared for his parish from the parish register or in such form as the Bishop may from time to time by directions in writing prescribe a list of all persons who to the best of his information and knowledge, are qualified to vote at parochial meetings therein.

    (2)   The Curé or the Incumbent of the parish shall insert in such list the name of every person who is proved to him to be qualified to vote at parochial meetings and shall strike out from such list the name of every person who is proved to him to be not so qualified, and shall also correct any error which is proved to him to be in such list.

    (3)   The Curé or the Incumbent shall affix or cause to be affixed in the Presbytery and in Church a certified copy of such list, which shall remain posted up for 14 days.

    (4)   The list so revised and corrected shall be kept at the Presbytery and any expense incurred in its preparation shall be laid before the Vestry at its first meeting and shall be paid out of the funds of the parish.
