15. Vacancy of membership of Vestry
A vestryman's office shall be deemed to be vacant on account of and shall include among other things—
-
(a) the vacation of the office caused by rotation;
-
(b) the member wilfully refusing to act; or
-
(c) where the member in the opinion of the Bishop has misconducted himself by virtue of his office;
-
(d) the resignation of a member;
-
(e) incapacitated on medical or other grounds which have been communicated to the satisfaction of the Bishop;
-
(f) absence from the State;
-
(g) death;
Provided that in respect of paragraph (f) a member shall not be held to be incapacitated unless—
-
(i) he has been out of the State for a period exceeding 3 months preceding the date of the parochial meeting; or
-
(ii) in excess thereof without the permission in writing of the Vestry.
