2. Interpretation

In this Act unless the context otherwise requires—

“Minister” means the Minister of Lands; (Inserted by Act 14 of 1983)
“parish” means the extent of territory erected for the ecclesiastical purposes of the Church into a parish by the Bishop;
“the Bishop” means the Roman Catholic Bishop in Saint Lucia as created by the Roman Catholic Bishop Incorporation Act and includes the Bishop of Castries;
“the Church” means the Roman Catholic Church.
