(1) Every person entering Saint Lucia shall truthfully answer all proper questions put to him or her by the immigration officer for the purpose of this Act, and shall also if required by the immigration officer —
(a) make and sign the prescribed declaration; and
(b) submit to be examined by a Government medial officer.
(2) Any person who refuses to make and sign the prescribed declaration or to submit to be examined by a Government medial officer shall be deemed to be a prohibited immigrant and dealt with as such.
