(1) Subject to subsection (2), a member shall be appointed for a term, not exceeding 3 years, and on such conditions, as may be determined by the Governor General at the time of his or her appointment and shall be eligible for re-appointment.
(2) A member representing a Public Service Union shall be appointed for 2 years in the first instance on the basis of rotation and shall be eligible for re-appointment if there is no representative of another Public Service Union who is willing to serve as a member of the Commission for that period.
